Other Material and Handouts

Depending on the time available for your presentation, you may wish to show the new actuarial career encouragement video. This 9-minute video features eight actuaries who describe the benefits and opportunities of an actuarial career. Use the order form if you would like to review the video for possible inclusion in your presentation.

In addition to printed copies of the PowerPoint presentation, you may wish to provide the audience with information on scholarship opportunities and actuarial training programs. Consider the audience when deciding what additional information to distribute. For example, an audience of high school students may not need the Syllabus of Exams, but would be interested in colleges that offer actuarial science courses.

Samples of the available handouts are included in this section. The handouts that may be photocopied for distribution are noted. The CAS Office will also provide photocopies of this material if needed. Copies of the pre-printed booklets can be requested using the order form.
