The Future Actuary

The Casualty Actuarial Society/Society of Actuaries candidates' newsletter, The Future Actuary, reaches thousands of actuarial candidates a year taking the first four jointly administered CAS/SOA exams. Readers get full coverage on topics like career development, nontraditional careers, grading systems, study tips, professional conduct and ethics, and the structure of actuarial organizations.

The majority of our readers are between the ages of 23-28, with 78% living in the United States, about 12% living in Canada, and about 9% living in other countries. About 61% are attending a university; 63% are not yet employed by companies that employ actuaries.
